Those of you interested in the torturous byways of politically correct language might be interested in THE OFFICIAL POLITICALLY CORRECT DICTIONARY AND HANDBOOK by Henry Beard and Christopher Cerf (Villard Books, 1992). The book has four sections: Politically Correct Terms; Politically Incorrect terms; Suspect Words, Concepts, etc.; Glossary of Bureaucratically Suitable Language.
Some samples: PC terms
alternative dentation: False teeth.
dicktion: The style of writing and speech imposed upon the world by patriarchal white lexicographers.
coself: Gender-neutral replacement for "herself" and "himself", recommended by feminist writer Mary Orovan. Example: Wilma advised Charlie to go fuck coself.
icthyo-American: A fish who resides in the territorial or inland waters of the United States.
negative saver: Nonjudgmental synonym for "spendthrift".
persons presenting themselves as commodity allotments within a business doctrine: A nonjudgmental substitute for "prostitutes".... Example: "Hey, handsome--if you'll pardon the lookist lingo," said the scantily clad yet culturally sensitive person who was presenting herself as a commodity allotment within a business doctrine, "if you're looking for a good time, I'm the sex care provider for you."
PIC terms/PC equivalents
blind: Unseeing; nonsighted; optically challenged; visually inconvenienced.
book: Processed tree carcass.
dirty old man: Sexually focussed chronologically gifted individual.
grammar: ethnocentric white patriarchal restructuring of language.
loser: Uniquely-fortuned individual on an alternative career path; person with temporarily unmet objectives.
serial killer: Person with difficult-to-meet needs.

This would all be pretty funny if Beard and Cerf hadn't documented actual sources for many of these terms.
Philip Rider "melanin impoverished, Academic Computing Services chronologically gifted, Northern Illinois University horizontally challenged, DeKalb, IL 60115 temporarily abled, oppressor"
